Happy New Year!!!

We took down all of our Christmas decorations the day after Christmas and decorated our tree for New Years.  It was fun to decorate the tree again, this time with a color scheme, which I've never gotten to do before.  Then the day before New Years Eve we blew up balloons, one for each hour of our new years countdown (plus some extra ones for fun) and hung them on our tree.  Here it is in all its glory...

On New Year's Eve, we popped a balloon every hour and did the activity on the slip of paper inside the balloon.  We went on a family walk, had dance parties, visited with MayMay and PopPop, played games, danced some more, made fondue, took an awesome bubble bath (the kids, that is), and then rang in the new year with lots of noise makers, dancing, yelling, fire crackers, and kissing of cute little kids.  You should hear Hogan blow a noise maker.... wow.  Tom and Noni rang in the new year with us.  It was fun!  Then the kids had a sleep over in our room.

We are thankful for all the blessings God has given us in 2012 and are looking forward to 2013!
