Y

My Maryann,

You have been such a shining light of joy and happiness in our family the past four years.  Your eyes twinkle with happiness and you have the most magical laugh I have ever heard.  You are a girly girl.  You love to put on make up and perfume, have your nails painted, and wear beautiful dresses.  But you also love to play in the woods, pick up lizards and bugs, play and watch Star Wars, fight and wrestle, and can hang with the boys and older girls no problem.  You are the best of both worlds.

You love Frozen and you, Caroline, and Lauralee do a wonderful rendition of Let It Go.  You also love the Sound of Music.  You have your Daddy wrapped around your little finger.  You scratch his back to get him to fall asleep in your room and can always get extra time in our bed by telling him that you JUST NEED to cuddle.  You are absolutely hilarious and so much fun.  You still sleep with your special blankie.  You really want to have your own pet lamb.  You are determined that you are not going to grow up.  You even say that you will play with Lauralee and Hogan's kids because you will still be a kid then :)

You are an amazing little girl and I love you more than you can even imagine.

                                                                 Love Mama

Caroline Mallory the Two Year Old

Sweet Caroline,

I love you little girl.  You are so tiny and yet so powerful.  You are the most strong willed child I have ever come across, and sometimes it makes me want to rip my hair out, but mostly I am excited to see how God uses your strength and persistence for His glory.  I know you will do great things.

You are so funny.  You love to make us all laugh and you have such a sweet, amazing smile and laugh.  You are in charge, and if you are not you are not too happy about it.  You are pretty obsessed with me and only want me to put you in bed at night.  You sleep with your blankie, "ba-ba", every night and like to rotate in different baby dolls and stuffed animals.  You are always, "Firsty!!!"  You love to sing, and dress up, and dance, and put on make up, and have your nails painted.  You wake up really early every morning and come in bed with me and Daddy.  Then you like to watch Nursery Rhymes on my phone and ask me to play "Baa Baa Black Sheep" over and over and over again.  You like to drive your little truck all over the house at top speed.  You have quite a temper but you are also the most loving little thing.  Whenever I get back from being away you get the hugest smile on your face and run to me yelling "MAMA" and give me the BIGGEST hugs and kisses.  I never want to forget that, it is so wonderful and I love the way the wrap your arms around my neck and smash your face against mine.

You are a very special and a very loved little girl.

                                                                     Love your Mama

Fall Soccer 2015

Hogan and Lauralee both had a great season, scoring multiple goals, but most importantly, having tons of fun.  Lauralee's team was named the "Ghosts" and Hogan's team was named the "Cheetahs".  Maryann and Caroline were their number one fans. Maryann even wore shin guards and high socks to all the games as a sign of solidarity.
