Saying Goodbye to Ohio

Saying goodbye to Ohio, our home for four years was bittersweet.  We are really happy to move on to the next phase of life but we are really, REALLY going to miss Cleveland and all our wonderful friends.  We will also miss our house.  We lived here when both Lauralee and Maryann were born and we have so many memories here.  It is the first house we lived in as a family.  Goodbye sweet home!

Things they say...

Hogan was talking about what he wants to be when he grows up.  He and Lauralee usually both want to be garbage men, but on this day he told me he was going to be a Daddy and a Doctor, just like his Daddy.  He was pretty happy with that for a few minutes but got real quiet for a little while.  Then he told me he changed his mind.  He wants to be someone who serves people dinner...someone who serves people dinner at McDonalds!!!  It's been a few days now and so far he's sticking to that one.

Lauralee calls her pants her "pantsies".

When Adam throws his clothes on the floor H and L tell him he needs to pick them up "cause we're not animals, we're persons!!!"

H and L both have certain toys that they say are "portant to me".

Hogan was really excited because Madilyn was going to come over and spend the night.  It was all he could talk about for days.  When it was finally the day of the sleep over he was riding hie bike around the drive way chanting, "Today's the day!  Today's the day!"  Hogan, Lauralee, and Madilyn had so much fun and never stopped talking.  We wished we could have taped their conversations.  They were all so thoughtful and considerate of each other's feelings.
