We loaded up the kids one night and headed over to Candy Cane Acres at the Fair Grounds. Here are H and L all ready to go. Those drawing boards they are holding are one of the best things we ever bought. They have been worth their weight in gold. We keep them in the car and the kids draw and write one them EVERY time we go anywhere.
Candy Cane Acres was fun. The kids enjoyed the lights and wanted nothing to do with Santa. But they did like decorating cookies, especially the part where they got to eat them. MK was really cute. There was a train at the entrance that drove around on tracks and had some stuffed animals, including a dog as passengers. As soon as she managed to get out of our arms she trucked it back over to the entrance to watch the train. She would jump up and down, dance, and "bark" at the dog on the the train.
