Christmas Parties!

December has been full of birthday parties and Christmas parties.  My kids are going to have to go on a major sugar detox program when this month is over.  But it has been a lot of fun.  We LOVE Christmas.... the joy, hope, and happiness we have been provided in Jesus Christ.  I love having young children at Christmas time.  I love to see the magic through their eyes.  And I love that it is the simple things that are the most meaningful.  They don't need to go to the big, elaborate, expensive theme park light shows because they love the magic that surrounds us here.  I love that.  I love them.  I love to hear Hogan take Lauralee aside and explain to her specific aspects of that first Christmas.  I love the extra kindness they have been showing to each other.  I love to watch their sweet, innocent little faces as they are starting to grasp the importance of Jesus and what he has done for us.  I love reading Christmas books, and going to parades, and watching them get excited about Santa Claus and reindeer.  Childhood is precious.  These children are precious.  We are truly, truly so blessed.

We had a little Christmas Party here and the kids had a great time. They ran, played, rode bikes, made crafts, listened to stories, laughed, played soccer, played super heroes, played house, shot bows and arrows, and had a grand time.

MK also got her very first pony tail.  My, oh my, she is CUTE!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
