Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter.  We made Resurrection Cookies, decorated Easter eggs, and had an Easter egg snack hunt a couple of days before Easter.  I hid eggs filled with snacks all over our front yard and H and L had a blast finding them, as well as eating the snacks inside.

On Easter morning we had Resurrection Rolls and headed to church.  We had Easter dinner over at Amanda's.  The kids hunted for eggs and we all had a wonderful day.

Making Wishes

Hogan kept finding dandelions and blowing the seeds off of them to make wishes today.  Every wish he made was to give me a flower or to give me a kiss.  Ahhhh, oh my, I love that little boy.  He also drew me a special picture the other day and told me to hang it on the refrigerator.  He told me that the drawing meant that every time he is outside he is going to pick a flower to give me.

My Baby's Growing Up!

Maryann Katherine is 4 1/2 Months old.  She is such a sweet, happy baby.  She laughs and smiles all the time and even when she is really upset, if you make eye contact with her, she can't help but smile at you.  She is so cuddly and lovable.  She is almost sitting up all by herself now.  She can't sit for about 20 seconds at a time with no support.  She loves playing with toys she can hold.  She LOVES the jumperoo.  She wants nothing to do with solids and doesn't sleep at night (at all).  We are all crazy about this funny little girl.  Absolutely crazy about her.  

Hogan and Lauralee were posing for the camera and having me show them the pictures.  They were cracking up at themselves and their "hilarious" poses.  These kiddos keep me smiling.

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

We loaded up the kids and hit the rails!  It was fun.  We rode the train from Independence to Akron and back again.
