Ten Months of Squishable Cuteness

My Caroline Mallory is 10 months old!

This sweet little angel is so full or personality.  She smiles all the time, coos, caas, yells, blows raspberries, dances to music, claps, loves balls, eats paper like it's her job, is into everything, loves to eat, hides her face when she's feeling shy, is pulling up and balancing while letting go, laughs and laughs, loves her brother and sisters, waves goodbye and says bye, claps (she even claps to the music in church), is a major Mama's girl, and is the apple of our eye.

Maryann

Miss Maryann is 2.5 years old and absolutely overflowing with personality.  She makes us laugh all the time.  She is either the funnest most hilarious person to be with or the moodiest most frustrating child to deal with... there's not much middle ground right now.  She is full of emotion and so sweet and loving.  She is herself, she is 100% Maryann Katherine... she knows what she wants.  She talks with her hands and is so expressive.  She gets up really early every morning and comes to lay in bed with me until Caroline wakes up.  She is obsessed with having her back scratched.  Her Daddy has to scratch it every night or all hell breaks lose.  She even manages to have Lauralee scratch her back at bedtime.  Hogan has started sleeping on the top bunk every night because "he doesn't scratch backs".  Maryann loves baby dolls, purses, nail polish, princesses, lip gloss, and make up.  She carries her baby doll around, nurses her, and has me babysit while she is at meetings and the gym.  I wish I could capture her at this age and keep her from growing up.  She is just PERFECT and we love her to the moon and back.  Oh, this child.  I love her.

Days with My Babies

Our days are filled with LOTS of playing and some school work on the side.  These kids LOVE each other and would be lost without one another.  We do have fights, and arguments, and tattling...but mostly we have FUN.  Lately they have been loving to play legos and house.  It is really too hot to play outside but they still jump on the trampoline, ride bikes, or play soccer with Daddy whenever it isn't too sweltering.  Of course, our very favorite outdoor activity is swimming at M and P's.  Maryann is doing amazing...she can swim all the way across the pool and is starting to figure out how to come up for a breath.  She is an impressive little 2.5 year old.  Lauralee and Hogan are meant for the water.  They are amazing swimmers.  Even our little Liney loves the water.  She splashes and smiles from ear to ear the entire time she is in.  Hogan and Lauralee are taking turns helping me prepare dinner each night.  They are such big helpers.  They take such great care of MK and C.  We are so blessed to have these children.
