Lauralee Elizabeth - 7 Year Old Photos

My sweet, kind, helpful, loving Lauralee, you have grown up so much over the course of this past year.  You've lost your four front bottom baby teeth and your two front top baby teeth and your baby smile is gone forever.  Your smile is getting so grown up and is still so beautiful.  I want you to stay my baby forever, but I love the little girl you have become.  I hope we will always be the best of friends.  I think you are amazing!  You are smart and interesting and so much fun.  I am so blessed that I get to be your Mama.  Everyday I am impressed by your kindness and compassion.  It is natural for you to put others before yourself... what an amazing, Christ honoring gift to have!  You are a problem solver and the most giving person I've ever met.  You take such good care of your little sisters and you look up to Hogan.  The two of you have your moments, but you are truly best friends.  You are so smart!  You read and write like someone much older than you actually are and math comes easily to you.  You can dive and do a flip into the pool.  You are becoming a great piano player.  You love soccer and are a natural.  You whistle everywhere you go.  You can blow bubbles with your chewing gum.  You know how to scramble your own eggs and make your own sandwiches.  You like to stay in bed as long as possible in the morning.  Dolphins are your favorite animals and you know all kinds of neat facts about them.  You are going to be such a wonderful mama someday because you are already like a mama to Maryann, Caroline, and Avonlea.  I love you so much and I am so proud of you.

Avi's Growing

Avonlea is officially too strong for the swing and is graduating to the jumperoo.  She really loved the swing but, judging by her excitement, she's going to love the jumperoo too!

Avonlea Gwendolyn - 5 Months Old

You are truly a joy.  The happiest little baby I have ever seen.  You laugh, and crow, and smile from ear to ear.  Even when your crying, if we make eye contact with you, you can't help but smile.  You love your brother and sisters.  You love your paci, but only when your trying to fall asleep.  You like to hold toys and you put everything in your mouth.  You roll from your back to your stomach and can sit up with a little bit of support.  You are SOOOOO ticklish.  Your hands are ticklish, your feet are ticklish, your legs are ticklish, your arms are ticklish, your tummy is ticklish.  You like for me to hold you in the carrier when you are tired and want to sleep, but as soon as you wake up you want out.  You will only sleep in the rock and play, swaddled.  Your crib sends you into hysterics.  You are so cuddly and sweet.  And you are so incredibly loved.
