Beautiful Day at Disney

We spent a beautiful day at Disney and were able to do a lot of stuff we had not done before, as well as some of the kids favorites again.  Hogan said his favorite part of the day was riding the Space Orbitor, Goofy's Barnstomper Rollar Coaster, and the Light Parade.  Lauralee's favorite part of the day was riding the Barn Stomper Rollar Coaster, the Dumbo Ride, and the Ariel Ride (which I got to ride with her :-).  Maryann definitely liked the Light Parade the best!  She sat on Adam's shoulders to watch it and sang, danced and clapped the entire time.  Caroline was awake a lot more this time so it was a totally different experience, but she was really good.  She is a theme park pro....who'd have ever thought ;)

The Day to Day

Our days are busy around here.  Caroline and Maryann are the first two awake every morning, usually around 7 or 7:30.  Shortly after Hogan wakes up and Lauralee often stays in bed until 9.  She is a smart little girl!!!  Breakfast is served in rounds, starting with Maryann who usually requests toast and juice and usually wants to eat the second she wakes up.  Caroline nurses at 8 and then it's breakfast for the "big kids" with MK running around like a maniac.  Hogan's breakfast of choice is a waffle with peanut butter and syrup and Great Value vanilla yogurt.  That is the only yogurt he will eat, no other brand is edible.  Lauralee is not a big breakfast eater but she usually requests yogurt.  Before she comes down to breakfast she has usually gotten her self dressed, opened the bedroom windows, and made up her bed.  Seriously?!?!  I love that girl :-)  During breakfast we pray, do devotional and Bible time in My Father's World, practice the books of the Bible, and work on counting.  After breakfast we head up, get dressed and do the rest of our schooling.  Lauralee and Hogan take turns entertaining MK when she has finished her "work".  School work is usually complete by lunch time.  We are really enjoying our mornings together and everyone has had such a wonderful attitude about getting their work done.  Maryann is working hard on her colors and Lauralee has started kindergarten.  Caroline hangs out with us and makes us smile.

The sign Hogan made for his bedroom door.

Maryann got the coveted honor of being the first kid to take a bath with Caroline.

She melts my heart!!!

We got to spend a lot of time with Mallory and Malone over their Christmas break.  My kids think they're wonderful.  Mallory did makeovers and manicures on Lauralee and Maryann...they LOVED it!

First time Caroline ever fell asleep just "hanging out" :)

We love Uncle Noki!  We had a "Good Luck Dinner" for him before he left for bootcamp.

Sweet Daddy.

Lots of trampoline FUN!  And static!!!!

Caroline Mallory - Three Months Old!

You have grown and changed so much over the course of the last three months.  I always forget how fast that happens.  Your reflux is completely gone (praise the Lord!!) and I am dreaming of the day I can eat dairy and soy again.  But it is more than worth it!  You are such a sweet angel and have the happiest disposition.  You love to be held and cuddled.  You smile at me every time we make eye contact.  You rolled over completely unassisted from your back to your stomach for the first time (on purpose) on December 24th and now we can't keep you on your back.  As soon as I lay you down you flip over.  You are a pro at holding up your head.  You LOVE bath time.  You can only sleep when you are swaddled.  You are still nursing 2-3 times at night.  You are enamored with your big brother and big sisters.  You put your hands in your mouth every chance you get, hold on to your feet, and if you get a hold of my hand you try to bring it to your mouth.  You are too cute for words.  We love you sweet little girl.

Happy New Year!!!!

We decorated our tree for New Years, complete with a balloon to pop every hour of our count down to New Years.  Each balloon had a fun family activity in it.

We spent the day together and had our traditional dinner of appetizers!

Daddy wasn't feeling very good... but this sweet little girl did a good job of cheering him up!

We rang in the New Year at 8:00 pm with Noni and Tom.  It was a fun, LOUD celebration.  The kids loved it!  They blew noise makers and set off those little confetti bombs.  There was lots of dancing, and yelling, and blowing, and cheering :)
