Girls! :)

Mother and Daughter Princess Tea Party

I got to take this beautiful little princess to a lovely tea party.  All the little girls there dressed up as princesses, drank tea, and were served dainty sandwiches and desserts.  At the end of the party each little girl got to walk up to the stage and was presented with a book and a tiara.  Lauralee was so sweet and cute.  I love this little girl.

Fair Time

We had a fun filled evening at the fair.  The kids loved looking at all the animals.  Maryann was absolutely entranced by them.

Hogan, Lauralee, and Naomi were our navigators for the evening.  They took the job very seriously.

Hogan, Lauralee, and Naomi went down this big slide with Noni.  Hogan went SOOOO fast down that when he hit the last bump he went completely airborne and then slammed back down.  I thought he would be crying when he got to the bottom after that crash landing but he didn't shed a tear.  He is getting so big.

Maryann and Elijah scavenged after corn dogs.

And Hogan and Lauralee loved the rides.

Such a fun night!

Our Little Gymnast

Lauralee has been taking gymnastics for the past couple months.  She is so cute out there.  She does back bends, tables, balance beams, forward tumbles, backward tumbles, back handsprings (in slow motion), cartwheels, bar routines, and handstands.  She has gotten a lot better at it since she started.  I love this sweet little girl.  Her FAVORITE part is jumping in the foam pit and on the trampoline at the end of class!

He is Risen!

We had a wonderful time preparing for and celebrating Easter this year.  We did our Resurrection Eggs each day leading up to Easter.  Hogan and Lauralee, especially Hogan, really seemed to get it this year and they both say they have accepted Jesus into their hearts as their Lord and Saviour.  Lauralee says the longest, sweetest prayers at night and they both sing songs about God, usually self composed, spontaneously throughout the day.  We made Easter Story cookies.  We decorated Easter eggs...

We had lots of Easter egg hunts in the front yard.  We made Easter crafts...

We went to an Easter Party and egg hunt...

On Easter we had a special breakfast, went to Church, came home and made Resurrection Rolls, took the kids to the river to watch baptisms, and then went over to MayMay and PopPop's to spend the rest of the day with people we love!

As soon as MK gets to MayMay and PopPop's house she goes into the kitchen and gets herself out a cup and a box of Cheeze-Its and brings them to MayMay to put Cheeze-Its into the cup for her.  And if she spies PopPop in the kitchen she runs over and points to the cookie jar so he will give her an Oreo.  She's got it figured out.

The"big" kids were playing a very elaborate game with the bunny rabbits MayMay and PopPop gave them for Easter.  They are so funny together, play the most creative games, and have so much fun.  They are so blessed to have cousins close to their age!
