Golden Rainbow Ranch

We had a lot of fun on this field trip and I actually remembered to take pictures for once!  Here are H, L, and N feeding carrots to the rabbit.

Maryann was getting ready to touch a chick...she was a little excited!

Next it was off to collect eggs from the chickens...

MK collected some rocks first :)

The kids went on a hayride, saw tons of cool animals, and had a blast!

Happy Birthday Sweet Little Monkey!

This 2 year old woke up (bright and early) to a room filled with balloons and lots of birthday excitement.

We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and sang "Happy Birthday" to this sweet baby girl.

After that we headed to a field trip at a farm where the kids got to pet goats, turkeys, bunnies, chickens... collect eggs... basically have a grand time.

When we got home the kids decorated MK's birthday cookies.  Serious Business.

For her birthday dinner MK had spaghetti and cheesy bread.  We sang Happy Birthday and MK blew out the candles in her cheesy bread.  She loves being sang to and blowing out candles.

And we did it again for her birthday cookies (instead of cake).

She was SO excited to get a phone of her own!

This is the little girl that Adam was so sure would grow up to be a "tom boy".  We love her more than words can say.  She always makes us smile and laugh.  Life is so much more fun and exciting with her in it.

You are the funniest little girl.  You have a way of making us laugh in every circumstance, even when your being naughty you're funny and we have to try REALLY hard to hold our laughter in.  You are so full of life and love and you have such a big, wonderful personality.  You are SO much fun!  You love your special blanket (the Noah's ark blanket) and you will not nap or sleep if you do not have it.  You have started packing it in your book bag to bring with you when ever we go anywhere and when you are buckled in the car you take it out and cover up with it.  Your favorite baby is "Doo-dah".  You love to play "Mommies" with L.  You take such good care of your baby dolls, you kiss them, push them in the stroller, give them naps, change their diapers, and nurse them.  You are such an independent little girl.  You already want to choose your own clothes, get dressed by yourself, go up and down the stairs yourself... really you don't think you need help with anything.  You are obsessed with soap and washing your hands.  I have to keep the soap where you can't reach it because otherwise you are constantly coating your hands in it.  You love books.  You love listening to nursery rhymes on my computer.  You sit with me while I feed Caroline at bedtime and we listen to them together.  You LOVE candy, cookies, and cheese.  You have the cutest little voice and Daddy and I love to hear you talk.  You have the cutest way of saying everything and you are so smart!  You can sing Happy Birthday to You and almost the whole alphabet.  Everytime we get in the car you ask for "La-lee, Ennae, and Me's" music and then you sing and dance to it.  You love to wrestle with Daddy.  You are scared of the dark and of raccoons but you are such a brave little girl.  You are also really tough.  Usually you can fall down and bounce right back up.  You have an infectious laugh that I love to hear.  You are such a helper to me.  You always want to bring me anything I need and get pretty upset if I ask someone else to do it.  You clean up your own messes... sometimes you even clean up Hogan and Lauralee's toys while they are still playing with them.  Words can not express how much I love you and what a blessing you are to our family.  I thank God for you everyday.  You are and always will be my sweet, precious baby.

Downtime

1 Month Old

Our Caroline Mallory

For the first month of your life you would sleep no where except on my chest.  So we had lots of cuddle time.  You will sleep in a cradle rocker beside me now if you are swaddled and are actually starting to sleep better there than on top of me.  I guess you are growing up.  You are so, so, so, so stinkin sweet.  I want to kiss you all the time.  You are starting to smile and "talk".  You have short little spurts of awake time and we are loving it.  H, L, and MK want to hold you all the time.  You truly are our sweet little angel.
