Life is Good

Hogan called me into his room one morning to show me how he made up his bed... all by himself... without being asked!!!  Look how perfect it is.  Love this kid.

Hogan has been playing a lot of "pirates" while we have been in Florida so he and Lauralee had Noni draw them pirate mustaches for several days in a row.  They sported them everywhere we went.

How did I get so lucky?!?  These kids are amazing!

Oh Happy Day (for the girl)

My two year has always had big opinions and those opinions have now ventured into wardrobe.  However, it's not items from her wardrobe that she chooses to wear...

She is a lucky girl to have a big brother who is willing to share his favorite t-shirts with her.  I am surrounded by super-heroes every where I go, but I guess that is a good thing :)

Almost 4?!

My little man is (*gasp*) almost 4 years old.  He really wanted his family to be at his birthday party so I threw him a small pre-birthday party in Florida.

Here are the two best buds getting ready to party... (love the one of H kissing L on the cheek)

They were a little too excited to pose for a picture with me.  I love these two stinkers so much.

It was a super hero party, of course.  And here are three of the sweetest, most adorable kids  in the world showing off their capes.  You can't see the capes, but how cute is this pose?!?  They pose this way on their own every time I take a picture of them.  LOVE them!

We had tons of fun hanging out with family and friends.  H is so loved by so many people.

We swam (of course).  Hogan and Lauralee are so cute zooming around the pool in their water wings.

Hogan hid under the table while everyone sang Happy Birthday to him.

But as soon as the song was done he jumped up and started blowing out his candles.

Lauralee didn't waste any time tearing into her cupcake...

I think she liked it :)

Hogan was spoiled by all the presents he got and hasn't stopped playing with all his new super heroes since the party ended.  He got a Captain America costume as a present and he refused to try it on during the party because he felt shy, but I could tell he was dying to put it on.  As soon as everyone left, Captain America made his appearance.

Hogan had such a wonderful time.  He told me all night and the next day what a wonderful birthday party he had.  Thank you so much everyone who came, Hogan is so blessed to have you in his life!  And thank you Mom, MayMay, and PopPop for all your help with the party, we love you!

Having Fun in Florida

These cousins love each other so much!

Hogan showing off his battle scars...

And here he is looking adorable while having a meltdown.  (He was perfectly fine, just expressing his anger about something silly.)
