FIVE

My little man woke up as a five year old.  He is so excited to be five.  When he and L woke up to a room filled with balloons we could hear them saying things like, "It's like a rainbow of colors!  It's so beautiful!  Where did all there balloons come from?!?"  He busted through his door like a champion.

Maryann stayed up with me the night before and helped me blow up all these balloons.  I think she was pretty proud of her efforts.

We had bacon shaped into hearts and cinnamon roll french toast for the birthday breakfast and sang "Happy Birthday" to the little man who stole my heart five years ago.

We spent the whole day celebrating Hogan and ended it with homemade pizza and a cake decorated by Hogan himself.

I love this boy so much.  Happy birthday, Hogan!

10 Months Old

Happiest, funniest little baby in the world!

- You can take two steps at a time before you fall down.
- You say "bye" and wave.
- Favorite word: Uh-oh!
- You like to look upside down through your legs, ALL the time!
-You LOVE to play peek-a-boo.
- You LOVE LOVE LOVE music and are always dancing.  If you hear anything that even remotely resembles music you immediately start to dance.
-  Your favorite food is toast.
- Four adorable teeth!
-  When people are laughing you join right in.
- SO ticklish!
- I sing your prayers with you at bedtime and you lay your head on my chest and sing along.
- When you are acting shy you smile at someone and then try to bury your face in my chest, but keep peeking out with a little smile on your face.
- My oh my I love you little girl!!!

Hogan's Ocean Party

It's true...Hogan's turning 5.  I can't believe it.  He has grown up so much just over the past couple months.  We are taking him to Sea World for a birthday present this year so he decided he wanted to have an ocean party.

This is true love!

Florida Aquarium

We went to the Aquarium with Marinda, Isaiah, Naomi, Elijah, Reynolds, and Noni.  The kids had tons of fun.  Here they are trying to touch the sting rays.  Hogan and Lauralee were actually brave enough to touch them this time!

This little girl loved looking at the fish and playing in the spraygrounds.

I really love all these kids.

This guy too.

Metamorphosis

We got a butterfly habitat and witnessed the wonder of God's creation from caterpillar to butterfly with our own eyes.  Four caterpillars to be exact.  It is crazy how fast those little guys grow. We started out with four tiny caterpillars and released four beautiful painted lady butterflies.

First Day of School

There they are, ready for their first day at the homeschool co-op.  Oh my goodness, they are too cute and growing up so fast.  Hogan is in the Kindergarten class and Lauralee is in the K-4 class.  They did so good and had so much fun.

Maryann went to.  She also had a blast.  She is such a funny little girl and so easy going.  She just plays and dances and makes everyone smile.
