Lauralee is 4!!

Our little angel girl is 4 years old.  It came out of the blue and happened so fast but when I asked her if I could keep her as a three year old for a little while longer she answered with a resounding, "No way!".  We did a lot of celebrating.  We took the kids to Sea World and Lauralee got to pick everything we did while we were there.  We fed the dolphins and the kids got to touch them and drop the fish right into their mouths.  It was so much fun!  Afterwards we took them to Menchies, a frozen yogurt store, and the kids got to design their own candy filled concoctions.  Adam and I sang "Happy Birthday" to Lauralee while we were there and the kids were so embarrassed, it was hilarious.  The second time we sang it Hogan got up and left the table.  I think he is too young for that?!?

Lauralee requested a Balloon Birthday Party with a million balloons... so that is what she got.  

There was a water balloon fight in which L got to fire the first shot...

We all had so much fun swimming and celebrating Lauralee.  Adam has spent the every free minute the last couple of weeks in the pool with Hogan and Lauralee teaching them to swim, and that combined with a couple weeks of lessons has left us with two little fish!  They are amazing swimmers now.  We can't believe how fast they caught on.

I love her facial expression while everyone was singing "Happy Birthday" to her.

We had so much fun at your party Lauralee!  We love you more than you will ever know!!!

18 Months Old!!!

- You talk, talk, talk!  My favorite word you say is still "La-lee".

-  You have to have hugs and kisses from Hogan and Lauralee before nap and before bedtime every night.  You love them so much, and they love you so much.

-  You love to wear my high heels and push your baby dolls around in a stroller.

-  You LOVE shoes.  You LOVE jewelry.  

-  You bring me hair bows to put in your hair and once they are in you say, "La-lee" which means you want to go show Hogan and Lauralee so they can tell you how cute you look.

-  You love balls.  You are really good at throwing and also at dribbling the soccer ball.

-  You are a climber... yikes!

-  You love your Nursery Rhyme Book.

-  You love to color and draw, especially if markers are available.

-  You are really friendly and say hello to everyone you see.

-  You are quite the dancer.

-  You have the cutest run.

-  You make Daddy and me laugh... and laugh... and laugh.  You are so stinkin' huggable and kissable we just about can't stand it.

-  You drink lots of water and if you don't have water the second you want it you freak out.  When you want water you always say, "Moe" even though you can also say "wa-wa".

-  You are a really picky eater.  You pretty much live off of dairy with an occasional piece of toast.  You hate almost every kind of fruit.  Every once in a while you will eat banana or cantaloupe but you act like you are revolted by all the other fruits we try to get you to eat.

-  You like to sleep with a baby doll (either Abbie Sue or Cinderella Baby) and your stuffed dog.

-  You call yourself "baby" and kiss yourself in the mirror.  You also kiss pictures of other babies that you see.  So sweet.

-  You do not enjoy having your teeth brushed.

-  You love bath time.

-  When we pray you fold your hands together and say "Amen" with us.

-  You haven't had a bottle since you turned one but recently you found your old bottles and had Lauralee put water in one for you so you could drink out of it.

-  You hold your baby dolls against your chest and pat their backs.
-  When Hogan or Lauralee are hurt or crying she rushes over to them, kneels beside them, says, "Kay??", and kisses them on the cheek.
