Baby LOVES Bath!

Caroline gets so excited when I ask her if she wants to take a bath.  She bounces and splashes and plays and beams from ear to ear the whole time she is in there.  It's so much fun to watch :)

Girl Time

While Hogan was at camp the girls and I did lots of fun girly stuff together.  We went shopping, we painted our nails, we watched princess movies...  We also read lots of books, visited with MayMay and PopPop, and played, played, played.  We played lots of baby dolls and I did lots of babysitting of baby dolls while their Mama's went to meetings and the gym :)

I can't resist taking pictures of MK's cute little tush, especially when she is walking around in underwear that are put on backwards.

We were always happy, though, when it was time to pick up this little man!!

Sports Camp

Hogan spent a week at our church's Sports Camp.   It was so weird dropping him off in the morning...  He is growing up so fast and is such a good, kind, responsible, sweet kid.  He had so much fun.  At night he prayed for God to help him not be too sad when camp was over.  He made lots of friends and can't wait to go next year!  I love him so much!

School's Out for Summer!!!

We finished My Father's World First Grade Curriculum and celebrated by having a parade over to MayMay and PopPop's (while waving our flags), swimming, and eating AMAZINGLY delicious ice cream sundaes.

The kids each designed their own flags.  Lauralee's has a picture of Jesus on the Cross and a picture of her and Jesus together.  Hogan's has symbolic colors... red for the blood Jesus shed for us, black for our sins, white to represent the cleansing of our sins through Jesus Christ, and yellow because Jesus is the light of the world.  He put a fish because it is a Christian symbol.  They made these flags completely on their own with out any help or ideas from me.  Maryann's flag has a picture of Jesus on the cross.

Hogan's Sermon Notes

Hogan asked for a piece of paper during the church service and this is what he did.

Be still my heart!

School Time Fun!

Happy Fourth of July! Part 2

Caroline Mallory is 9 Months Old

How can it be???  Nine months old?  My tiny little 6 pound sweetie is now crawling, and laughing, and playing, and growing into the funniest little ball of spunk.  She laughs and laughs at her siblings and always wants to be a part of whatever they are doing.  She loves bath and when I ask her if she wants to take one she gets really excited and says, "Bath!  Bath!".  She loves to swim in the pool.  She is sleeping in her crib... still waking up to nurse every 2-3 hours, but sleeping in her crib none the less.  When she wants me she cries, "Maaaaaaa, Maaaaaaa!".  She loves to eat paper.  She loves books.  She is pulling up to standing every once in a while and sometimes does a real crawl.  She is a biter!  She will crawl around after me trying to bite me.  She loves to clap and can say, "Clap."  She is so funny and smiley and makes me laugh all the time.  I just can't stop kissing her sweet little cheeks.  It is soooo hard to change her diaper because she keeps flipping around and trying to get away during the process.  She loves music and loves to dance.  I love my Caroline Mallory!
