Here they are, ready to find some eggs!
After multiple egg hunts we made Resurrection Rolls for breakfast, which the kids devoured at record speed. They are empty, just like Jesus' tomb on Easter morning. The kids get to put a marshmellow in the center of each roll (we used crescents) and when they come out of the oven the marshmellow is "gone". This is not my picture, but here is what they look like...
We didn't get to go to Church this Easter because I was sick (and didn't think it would be very nice to cough all over everyone) so we went through all the Resurrection Eggs again with the kids, read the book "Benjamin's Box" to them (if you do Resurrection Eggs with your kids you should get this book, it is great!), and prayed and gave thanks for our Lord and Saviour.
It was really nice having Adam there with us, we have been missing him so much. Three months is much more difficult than it sounds, and it sounds pretty difficult, at least to me. We are so blessed to be in Florida with family though, and are very thankful for that!
We ate a delicious Easter Dinner at MayMay and PopPop's and then the kids got ready to find some more Easter Eggs.
Hogan was pretty pumped up and couldn't contain his excitement for very long...
The first time we let the kids find Easter Eggs this year it was at Hogan's friend Johnny's house. Since it was Lauralee and two older boys we thought she might need a head start but she was an expert at it from the get-go. It was so funny to watch her race from egg to egg, she definitely held her own.
She got down to business finding the eggs on Easter too.
After they found all the eggs the kids decided to hide them for Noni to find. This is Lauralee's method of hiding Easter Eggs...
We attempted to get a family photo. One of these days we will get a good one. These are the best we came out with...
We also tried to get some pictures of the kids with Nana and Grandpa. After some cropping my kids look pretty cooperative :-)
We had a wonderful Easter with our wonderful family.

Such cute family shots! :) Looks like a fun and sunny Easter! :) And I love that little dress. SO. CUTE!
