The Long Drive and More

We survived the -oh.so.long- drive from Cleveland to Brooksville and were blessed to have Noni, Nana, and Grandpa to make the trek with us.  But, oh yes, it was long.

Once we got to Florida, Maryann went for her first swim in the pool.  She wasn't too happy at first because the water felt pretty cold but she ended up liking it.

The kids have been having a great time playing with their cousins and Adam and I have been working hard to get unpacked and settled.

Reasons We Miss Florida...

• Going to Lowry Park Zoo... Hogan, Lauralee, and I went with Erin and Emmalyn one time and Adam took Hogan and Lauralee another time.
• Playing with Naomi, Elijah, and Emma.  H, L, and MK are so blessed to have such wonderful cousins.
• H, L, and N playing owls at MayMay and PopPop's house.
• Hogan going to AWANA on Wednesday nights with Noni.
• Picking strawberries with Nana and Grandpa.
• Driving Cozy Coupes from Noni's house to MayMay and PopPop's house.
• Hogan getting his hair cut at the barber shop with PopPop
• Trips to the Dollar Store
• Making Treasure Boxes with Noni
• Eating special breakfasts at Nana and Grandpa's house
• Hogan and Lauralee tormenting the dogs at Noni's house
• Going to see the "Secret Hide-Out"
• Spending time with so many people in our family.  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family.  
• Lots of dinners at MayMay and PopPop's house
• Building Bird Houses with Grandpa

Cousins

Hogan, Lauralee, and Maryann had such a wonderful time playing with Naomi and Elijah while we were in Florida.  We really wish we lived closer to them.  We love those kids so much.  

Camping

We decided to have a Camp Out in Noni's front yard.  Adam set up a tent.  We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows.  We sang songs.  We ran and played.  MayMay and PopPop came over to join in the fun.  

Here are my campers bunkering down for the night.  They had flashlights, books, Patches and Patches, and Honey.  Lauralee came up to sleep with me and Maryann at 8 but Hogan made it all night.  He was SO excited.  He said the sweetest prayer of thanks to God that night.  Beyta stayed in the tent all night, too.  When I asked Hogan what his favorite part of camping was he told me it was a story Daddy told him about Super Hogan, Super Lauralee, and a robot :)

Hanging Out at Noni's

Some of the best times and memories in Florida were had and made while just hanging out at Noni's.  

Fire Trucks

Adam took H and L to the Fire Station while we were in Florida.  They couldn't wait to go!

They had so much fun.  Uncle Ryan showed them around and let them "drive" the truck.  

And I got to spend some quality time with my baby girl :)
