We spent a chilly, muddy, fun-filled afternoon at the Fall Family Fun Fest at Patterson's Farm. These two cuties had a great time.
They got to play with their wonderful friends Penelope and JoJo.
They practiced their farming skills, drove around on tractors, and did everything you should do on a nice fall day...
Here they are coming down the slides. We love those slides!
We couldn't leave with out letting the exhausted children pick some apples. Hogan had made up his mind that I was going to make him an apple pie. He didn't want to help, he just wanted to eat it. I don't know if he had ever tried apple pie before but he was dead set on it. He was pretty upset when we didn't go buy all the ingredients on the way home that evening and whip up a pie at 8 o'clock that night. I did make one a few days later and he did love it (spoiled little guy). He said his mama makes the best apple pie in the world, so it was all worth it (I really don't).
And this little girl was much too tired on the way home to care at all about pies.
