One evening, after being tucked into bed, the kids were aroused by the sounds of a train... the Polar Express! They checked under their pillows, found their tickets, and joined us for a night of Christmas lights, hot chocolate and cookies.
There was one house in particular that had a beautiful light display so we parked to let the kids walk up and look at the manger scene. Hogan was too embarassed to get out of the car because he didn't want people to see him in his pajamas. Maryann didn't want to leave because she liked baby Jesus so much! Hogan did finally decide to get out of the car but only after everyone else came back and we were ready to leave.
