We took a day trip to Pittsburgh with our good friends.
First stop, IKEA! ... Which was very exciting because I have never been to an IKEA before. It definitely lived up to my expectations. They had a fun childcare/playroom where your kids can stay while you shop the ENORMOUS store, however, my kids wanted absolutely nothing to do with that ridiculousness. They just can't stand to be away from us ;) So we attempted to navigate IKEA with two kids in tow. They were really pretty good so we all survived no worse for the wear.
After IKEA, and getting lost in Pittsburgh a couple times we made it up to the top of the Duquesne Incline, which first opened in 1877. Pittsburgh is a surprisingly pretty city but I couldn't imagine having to live there during the winter. The roads are so narrow and steep and they must become an icy nightmare. But, it was pretty!
Here are two adorable little girls enjoying the view from up high.
I wanted H and L to pose with Adam but they weren't interested. Adam, being as wonderful as he is, posed alone... he felt awkward but he was a good sport.

This is a picture of the century old cable car that we rode up and down the incline.
These kids had so much fun running around, being silly, and laughing at each other.
Lauralee went all day with out napping so when we headed home that evening she immediately passed out. Isn't she precious?
She woke up about ten minutes later though.
